Elocon er indisert for lindring av manifestasjoner som betennelse og kløe, forårsaket av visse inflammatoriske hudsykdommer, som psoriasis (unntatt omfattende plakkpsoriasis), atopisk dermatitt, irriterende dermatitt og/eller kontaktallergi. Det brukes ved å påføre et tynt lag av krem / salve som dekker det berørte området en gang om dagen.
