Es wird außerdem zur Behandlung und Vorbeugung von tiefer Venenthrombose (TVT) und Lungenembolie (LE) sowie zur Vorbeugung von Blutgerinnseln nach Hüft- oder Kniegelenkersatzoperationen angewendet.
