Harvoni è un farmaco antivirale utilizzato per il trattamento dell’epatite C cronica di genotipi 1, 4, 5 e 6 negli adulti e nei bambini dai 3 anni in su. Si tratta di una compressa combinata (ledipasvir e sofosbuvir) da assumere una volta al giorno, che agisce per eradicare l’infezione, generalmente in 8-12 settimane. Viene utilizzato anche in pazienti con cirrosi compensata e scompensata o sottoposti a trapianto di fegato.

Harvoni is used to treat hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections in adults and children aged 3 years and older. Harvoni is used for HCV genotypes 1, 4, 5, or 6 infections without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis. Harvoni also treats HCV genotype 1 infection with advanced cirrhosis (decompensated) in combination with ribavirin and people with HCV genotype 1 or 4 infection without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis who have had a liver transplant, in combination with ribavirin.
