Latuda (lurasidone) is een atypisch antipsychoticum dat voornamelijk wordt gebruikt voor de behandeling van schizofrenie bij volwassenen en adolescenten (13-17 jaar) en bipolaire stoornis type I bij volwassenen, hetzij als monotherapie, hetzij in combinatie met lithium of valproaat. Het middel werkt door de neurotransmitters (dopamine/serotonine) in evenwicht te brengen om de stemming te stabiliseren en psychotische symptomen te behandelen.
