Pirfenex viser anti-fibroserende og anti-inflammatoriske egenskaper i mange systemer in vitro og i dyremodeller av lungefibrose (fibrosen indusert av bleomycin og transplantasjon). Tildelt voksne som lider av idiopatisk lungefibrose.
