Vigamox is highly effective in treating bacterial conjunctivitis, with a cure rate of over 90% in most cases. Bacterial conjunctivitis is a common eye infection that causes redness, swelling, itching, and discharge from the eye. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests bacterial conjunctivitis is most commonly caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Staphylococcus aureus.
